DIY Soda Cooler Chills a Whole Fridge Pack for Grab-and-Go Convenience

"This simple DIY project will help you coolly transport a fridge pack of soda. Just grab the whole case, pop it into the custom cooler, and you're good to go. The instructions from Make are pretty straightforward. You'll need insulating material such as craft foam, a thin plastic for the outer covering (e.g., a shower curtain), and velcro to keep one end closed. Trace around a fridge pack to get the sizing and sew the sides together. (Make it a little bigger if you want to include room for an ice pack or two.) Not a fan of the sewing machine? Plastic adhesive could work too. While this might seem a lot of work just to cool all your soda cans, if you often party with a whole pack of cans, the project means you don't have to unload each can into a big cooler." -Lifehacker http://lifehacker.com/diy-soda-cooler-chills-a-whole-fridge-pack-for-grab-and-720542618

Store Ice-Cream In Freezer Bags For Easier Scooping

"Reddit user Corbin Montego found that, if you store your ice cream container in a freezer bag, it won't freeze into the frozen dessert brick and you can scoop it out much more easily.

Of course you could always let it sit out on the counter for a few minutes, but when you want ice cream now that may not be an appealing alternative. For immediate consumption use this tip or just cut it with a knife." -Lifehacker
